1920 Weber Baking Co. Flags of Nations

Background

One of the most beautiful non-sports card sets, the Weber Baking Co. set, features cards that have both the national flag and a person dressed in that nations traditional attire.

Despite the title of the set being "Weber Baking" there are other companies that were creating the same set of bread cards. These cards were being included with loaves of Pullman and Onist Milk Bread for two months of the year. From current analysis, these cards appear to be a rare and hard to find set. Currently, not all of the cards in the set are fully known and these are the known cards in the set at this time.

According to the back of one of the cards found, there are 50 different kinds of cards in the set. The commonality between the different producers of this particular set is that they are bakeries that are based in New Jersey. Other manufacturers producing this card include Pioneer Bread, Maiers Bread.
